Capable of Anything

A stressful or upsetting day, paired with an emotional music playlist, always seems to produce a melancholy piece from me...

I had a little idea in my head of Bellwether left alone with her thoughts...I thought it might be a claustrophobic little place.

Honestly, I wasn’t even going to post this piece, it was more of just some emotional exploration for myself, and perhaps it was the less than happy mood I was in, but I didn’t even really like it...

While I was getting close to closing the file though, a song (Capable of Anything by Ben Folds) came on, and it encapsulated what Bellwether might be thinking to me so well I actually liked the drawing again.... and so I thought I’d share the piece and the lyric with you all <3

You are capable of anything.

But you don’t seem to think,

That you could fly so low, or sink so high.

That you could ever love again or even try.

That you could steal, or cheat, or kill, or lie.

But you might.

Sorry for the heavy little post, but, I suppose sadness, and anxiety are perfectly alright in moderation, and I think they should be shared just as readily as happiness...I know it helps me to share how I’m feeling, and using my drawings as a vessel for that makes it easier   And I must say the song is worth listening too...it has quite a bit of bite to it, and an interesting introspective look at the ordinarily positively connoted phrase ‘capable of anything’
